I am searhing for information about my GG Grandfather Martin Dillon and his wife Margaret Welsh. I do not know the exact village, but many of the Irish immigrants in my hometown of West Grover, Pennsylvania came from Macroom and Ballyvourney in County Cork. The O'Connells from Macroom are also in my family.
I will be visiting the area on August 24 with my cousin, John O'Connell, son of Mary Dllon.

When did they emigrate?
Was Margaret born in America or Ireland?

Martin and Margaret left Ireland about 1851. They traveled either from Limerick or Liverpool. Not sure which. Don't know if they married in Ireland or Pennsylvania.
