I recently found out the my husband's great uncle was born in Cloughirdan, Tipperary. He has siblings, Mary, John, Margaret and Elizabeth. A few years ago we found my husband's paternal grandfather, Jeremiah Carroll, and had a reunion with the Irish counsins and the American cousins. Jeremiah married Mary Doolan. We have not been able to trace her and would very much like to find the name of her parents. Any help is greatly appreciated. We plan on visiting Ireland in August (fingers crossed) and would like nothing more to find out more information on this family. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Betty Carroll

Thank you. Patrick Doolan was born on August 26, 1879. I neglected to put that information in my first email.

Hi Betty!
Our local volunteer in Cloughjordan contacted me and provide the following information:
John Doolan married Mary Kelly on February 25 1868. Here is the civil marriage record which also shows where the bride and groom lived and the names of their fathers. The civil parish is Kilruane. https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…
Children were Bridget July 4 1871 Dan May 13 1873 Maria April 5 1875 Michael September 6 1876 Winifred April 28 1878 Patrick August 28 1879 These dates are baptismal dates.
There is a possibility of two older children John and Eliza which we are checking further.

Betty:
I've had further e-mail exchanges with our local volunteer in Cloughjordan and can confirm that there were two older children born to John Doolan and Mary Kelly in 1869 and 1870. See links.
fifth record John 1869 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
fourth record Eliza 1870 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
Our local volunteer also advised that the Dan (Daniel) born in 1873 married in 1902 and took over the farm. Here is Daniel and his family in the 1911 census.

Daniel died in 1941 see last record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…
His children had the farm into the 1970s until the last past away. There are no Doolans in Kyle currently.
Let me know if you have further questions.
