Hello all. I am researching the families of Michael Dowd (born in 1849), his son Thomas (1894-1956). Thomas left Dingle for Springfield, Massachusetts as a young man. He married Eva Farrell (1897-1991). I believe Eva may also have been from Dingle. She was the daughter of William Farrell and Catherine Lee. I know that one of my relatives -- Barney Dowd -- lived in the Green Mont area of Dingle. Thanks for your help.
Hi, You can search births for free at irishgenealogy.ie. Thomas and Eve should be there, but not Michael, as he was born before the start of civil registration.
