Hi, I had a gr-uncle Pat Leonard from Rahan who married a Dunne about 1917. His son still lives on the farm he moved to in (guess where?)...."Ballincur". Just wondering would it have been Dunnes beforehand.

jackc or is it john
looked up that census and sure enough patrick is listed as being aged 31 which means in 1918 he must have been 38 when married
also looked up 1901 census and it seems they were in 14 in newtown and there are another two in the family anne and peter not mentioned in 1911 census
armed with this information i will now check with your great uncle pat son in ballincor to see where in the leonard line he fits in and belongs to -have you been in contact with him recently--
