I believe my Grandfather, Arthur Eastwood, b circa 1888 was born in Dublin, & came over to England at an early age. I have been searching for him & can only find the earliest census of him is 1921 in Kent, which includes where born, & he has put Dublin, Ireland.
I have been searching for a number of years & cannot find much else about him. On his marriage certificate it reads, Father, Alfred Eastwood, deceased, traveller.
I was wondering if this is in fact saying that he was an Irish Traveller, or whether he was a salesman.
Is there anyone that perhaps knows, or knows of an Eastwood family I could contact to find out please.

I checked the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie for a civil birth record for Arthur Eastwood and did not locate a record. I searched from 1880 on for all of Ireland.
