Hi Janine
You can contact the Huguenot Society in London, their web page is at www.huguenotsociety.org.au and they will help you. I have a family name of 'ATTRILL' who were suggested as being Huguenots from France and I have found that the French spelling is actually "A'TEUIL'. I hope this helps, Christine

Hi,
there is an Elizabeth Jane Ebzery born in 1833 in Shanagolden, County Limerick to a Phillip and Frances (nee Lee) Frances was from County Clare.
The mother went to Australia with Elizabeth and 2 brothers Patrick and Henry after Phillip died in 1842.
The father was also born in Ireland in Robertstown Limerick in 1790.

Hi Margot
Can you tell me what evidence you have for Frances (Faith) Lee being born in Co. Clare? I am descended from this family and as far as we know Faith was born at Cappagh, Limerick. Elizabeth Jane is just Jane, there is no Elizabeth in her name, although her daughter was Eliza Jane. Faith & Phillip Ebzery had 13 children, 11 of the children, plus Faith, came to Australia in 6 separate voyages from 1838 to 1857.
regards, Louise
