name: Edward J O'Malley from Gort Galway--- left Ireland in early 20th c---- can't locate his entry into US thru records of ellis island---emigrated to hartford, CT----Kindly let me know if you may be able to help me---- grateful to have read the recent article in the NY times and would love to employ someone who may help me

Dear Janie,
I have looked up the R.C. parish records for Gort and also the 1901 and 1911 census on www.census.nationalarchives.ie. However, I cannot find any trace of Edward J. O'Malley. If I find anything at a later date I will contact you. Would you know had he any relatives living in Gort or what was his father's occupation?
