Looking for information relating to a Nora Mannion, my Grandmother, who travelled to Australia from Ballyglunan? near Tuam Co. Galway probably in the 1880's or 1890's. She was the only member of the family to come to Australia, all her siblings went to the United States, probably Boston.

Any idea of year of birth or parents names? I went to www.familysearch.org There are records in the late 1860s-early 1870s in Co. Galway. The town is likely Ballyglunin near Corofin about 16 minutes driving from Tuam.

Im looking for my GG Grandmother Bridget Mannion's family.She was born 1831 in Clifden and came to Van Deiman's land (Tasmania). She married Bartholemnew Griffin in R/C ST Joseph's in Hobart in1853.He also had a sister Nora in Tasmania with him. This probably does not help you but maybe Bridget was related to your Nora somehow?
