Hello... I am not very good at this and have very little informnation to carry out a trace. My gandmother shows on a marriage record and her sons birth certificate (Liverpool) the in 1907 she stateson her sons birth certificate  Hannah Tobin >> formerlly Morrison... She Then marries EDWARDS  Dec 1907 and puts her name as Morrison. On the 1911 english censor she  put Johhana Edwards aged 29 birth place as PRUREE.... I believe this has been enterred incorrectly and it should be BRUREE.

My dad was born in Liverpool > March 1907 and is registered as Michael Tobin, mothers name is entered as Hannah TOBIN. I cannot find any record of when she came to Liverpool or of the 'marriage' I assume to TOBIN (was my dad illigitimate, which he thinks after I question him before his death 1987, strange she marries EDWARDS 6/7 months later. I would like any information held if any of her birth being registered ... some confusionas to dates 1880 or 1882.

Bruree is located within the Kilmallock registration district. I looked at www.findmypast.ie  for birth index records for a Hannah or Johanna Morrison in the late 1870s early 1880s. I could only find two records for an 1874 and 1875 Johanna in Kilmallock. I know this is earlier than your belief bu they were the only records listed. If you are interested, you could contact the GRO www.groireland.ie to get the actual records. Each copy of a record costs around 4 euros. In addition to filling out their form, you need to provide the data in the index record. See below.
