Hi:  I am Nora Farrell's granddaughter, Jo in America.

She lived in Gort, Galway in the early 1900's.

Does anyone have any information regarding her emigration to England?

I believe the Sisters of Mercy might have been involved...

Thank you!

  • Do you know her birthdate? there is one in 1908.

What would the sisters of Mercy have to do with her?

Going to England from Ireland, you didn't need any documents....they were both ruled by Great Britain.

You are in the US, did she go there?   Or stayed in England?   Did she marry?  Who to?
