I am searching for the Farren family. John Farren married Sarah McGrory (or other similar spellings) around 1840. They had at least 8 children. Early children are listed in U.S. documents as born in Donegal (unknown where) but later children were born in Derry. Michael Farren was baptised at St Columb Long Tower in Feb 1859. Other children: these 5 born in Donegal - Owen (abt 1841), John (about 1844) Bernard (about 1945), Daniel (about 1948 - he was blind) and Edward. Born in Derry - Michael, Catherins, Margaret (she married a HIll and in 1930 was living in Egypt). All children except Margaret emigrated to the US and lived in Boston.
Any information about where in Ireland this family was from or any other information would be greatly appreciated. We have no further information about John Farren and Sarah McGrory.

Sarah,
I can see baptisms in Long Tower for Michael Farren 13th Feb 1859 and Catherine 23.8.1853.
If John & Sarah married in Donegal then a problem you face is that a lot of RC parishes there didn’t keep any records till the 1850s, so it’s quite possible that there is no record of their marriage or of children baptised there.
I looked for a marriage between Margaret Farren and a Mr Hill in Ireland but did not find one. Could they have married outside Ireland?
