Fingleton / Mahony/Hogan

Lynn, which years are you looking for?

I did see a Fingleton marriage to a Mahony in 1919.

In 1911 there is a family and one was born in Queen's County now called County Laois.

In 1823 there are several in Queen's.

The 1919 is for my grandparents James Fingleton and Kate Mahony. I'm really trying to find info on James' father Patrick born 1856c.  He lived on Limerick Street in 1871 according to his school record. He lived on Green St in 1911, according to this census he was born in County Tipperary.  Like you say there are several Fingleton's in Laois but none are mine. Patrick married Eliza McDonald in 1884 in mountmellick and some of their children were born in Laois- he's a real mystery

I've done a lot of searching but still can't get any more on my Fingleton's. Not sure if Dick Conroy is one if your researches in Roscrea but he's already helped me a lot and I've met with him a couple on times when visiting Roscrea ( I live in England). He got me the school record for Patrick as well as finding my dads baptism and school entry record
