I just posted for King and Fitzgerald from Portlaw. I do have some info on James King born 1836 Portlaw and Mary King living in Portlaw. Mainly interested in Fitzgerald's. Anastacia also known as Anty on shipping records or maybe even Mary who married James King before 1811 either Portlaw or Kilmacow Kilkenny. Have no information on any of the Fitzgerald side. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I haven’t been able to obtain a lot onmyIrish family. James King married Anastacia Fitzgerald Known as Anty on shipping records. They had Thomas, James, Mary and Margaret. Margaret came to Australia on the Earl Gray Scheme 1849 and her brother Thomas born 1811 my gg grandfather came in 1854 with his family. He married Mary Donovan 1829 and had 5 living children and one deceased male all born in Kilkenny (Kilmacow). James son of Thomas born 1836 and was baptised in Portlaw. A Mary King was a sponsor. James King and Anastacia Fitzgerald’s other two children Mary and James King I have not been able to find anything on them. Not sure if Mary King was Thomas sister in Portlaw. I do know there were a few Kings in Portlaw at that time but have not been able to connect them. I know nothing else on Fitzgerald. The names of Patrick, Thomas and James has been passed down each generation here . I did find a James King from Portlaw in CHARLOTTETOWN Prince Edward Island about 1832. It would be lovely to get some info on my Irish family.
