This is the information I have gathered regarding my paternal grandmother's line. I'm not certain that this is all correct but it seems to be. Morgan Fitzpatrick was born in Dec. 1809 in Wexford, Ireland and he passed away in 1881 in PEI. In 1824 he lived in Kilrush, Wexford, Ireland. He was married to Margaret Arnold who was also born in Wexford in 1800. I am putting their immigration between 1830 and 1834 because it looks like they had a daughter born in Ireland in 1830 and a son born in PEI in 1834. Morgan's parents were Philip Fitzpatrick born in 1780 and Mary Ellen Tierney born in 1872. Philip's parent were James Fitzpatrick and Maria Rielly (sorry, I don't have their birthdates). Mary Ellen's parents were Patrick Tierney born in 1750 and Catherine Codd. Catherine's parents were Thomas Codd and Catherine Joyce.
Together they (Morgan Fitzpatrick & Margaret Arnold) had several children:
- Patrick Fitzpatrick - 1825-1896
- Mary A Fitzpatrick - 1830-1903
- James Fitzpatrick - 1834-1905
- Edward Fitzpatrick - 1837 -
- Bridget E. Fitzpatrick - 1841-
- Elizabeth Fitzpatrick - 1843 -
I am descended from Patrick Fitzpatrick who married Ann Teahan, they had Edward Fitzpatrick who married Margaret O'hanley, they had Sarah (Sadie) Fitzpatrick who married George Norris, they had my dad Roderick Norris, his brother George and his Sister Margaret.
