would like to connect with ancestors of Nicholas Flannery (1901 - 1883) who lived South of Strokestown near Caggletonroe. His wife was Mary SHields (1803 - 1900). Their children are Joseph (b 1831) Michael, Bridget, Maria, Nicholas and Catherine. Joseph, my G G Grandfather came to the us in 1849, and we think Catherine did too.

  • Hi Emma, no, the flannery's are not from Mountbellew, Galway. I am having trouble with your website, trying to establish myself in various counties that my ancestors came from, and am unable, so they all appear under my original COunty, Galway....
