Looking for ANY onformation at all about John Gleeson, a national school teacher, and his wife formely Mary O'Connor, or any of their children John 12/07/1869, Patrick 7/2/1867 and Bridget 5/10/1871, there possibly could have been a William as well. They lived on Boslands Lane in Gort

  • Hi, since you posted civil records post 1864 are here https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ and free to search so you should be able to see if they married locally or died etc, are they in the census of 1901 or 1911 default setting again free to see here https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ 

    If they emigrated to England there will be no travel records as it is a free travel area and no passport required still.

    There are a number of private Galway genealogy Facebook pages if you apply to join you may find a local hisotrian as teachers should leave a mark of some sort.
