I am trying to put a Goldrick Family tree together and i have hit a brick wall. If anyone knows of any information of the family please send a message.

In the early 1900's they have lived  in Kilconnell,  Aughrim.

Thankyou

  • Hi Veronica,

The Irish Censuses of 1901 and 1911 are freely availble to search online.

There are Goldricks in county Galway in both of these.

I hope you find some of yours.

    Best regards,

  • Hi, I have looked at both 1901 &1911 census but couldn't find anything. I have got a feeling I may be only be able to get the information from RC church records in Kilconnell or Aughrim.

    Thank you for your reply.

  • Hi Veronica,

There is a site www.rootsireland.ie where you can search for McGoldricks.

You can limit the search by selecting Galway only and putting in first names and years and parents' names..

I did so for Goldrick births / baptisms 1900 + or - 5 years and got 3 results John Peter 1901 James Vincent 1902 and Patrick Joseph 1898.

It is a pay site with each record costing about $5 but might be easier than chasing parish records.

    Cheers

    Col
