Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, it may be difficult to find information on the Gray?s in the pre-1740 period due to what records are available in Ireland. The reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist. Please also note that the Church of Ireland was the official church of the country and therefore the bulk of information that does survive for earlier periods is often from these registers.
For information on C of I registers check: http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/.
For Gilmore and Storrier in the parish of Donaghadee, you could try checking the two land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century. They are:
The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-1838) found at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp
and Griffith?s Valuation (1848-1864) found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
Have you tried looking in church records for information on the Gilmores and Storriers? Use the links given above for information on Church of Ireland records. Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which you may find helpful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. Donagahadee civil parish, is part of Bangor Roman Catholic parish. To see what records are available there check:
For the Tally?s and Ogans, you could try searching for them in the land records also in order to find a more specific place of origin. Most Irish record sources- church records, land records, census records- are based on specific locations. Until you know a specific location within Ireland, preferably a parish or placename, it may be difficult to do anything more with these records.
You could also try searching https://familysearch.org/ This is a huge database of genealogical records that has been compiled by the Church of the Latter day Saints.
Other websites which you may find useful are:
The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/

Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,
