The Presbyterian Historical Society in Belfast should have details of the Rev Davison’s career, family & marriage. They may know his origins.

He almost certainly obtained his degree in Scotland, either at Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews or Aberdeen Universities. They also sometimes have some family information on their old graduates.
Tradition was to marry in the bride’s church so that may not necessarily have been the Rev Davison’s own church. However if it was in the Aughnacloy area then none of the local churches has any marriage records for the 1790s. Both Carnteel Church of Ireland and Aughnacloy Presbyterian Presbyterian only have records from the early 1800s.
