I have very little information on my 3rd great grandfather Michael Hannon. I have no documentation only rumours saying he was from limerick county. He was born around 1805 and married a Elizabeth Mctearnan or Mcterney about 1830. They immigrated to Canada sometime between 1830-1836. Their first son was born in Canada in 1836.
I know this is very little information but any help would be wonderful.

Hi Kim:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked Roots Ireland and there are five Michael Hannon/Hannan baptismal records in Co. Limerick between 1803-1809. You would need his parents names to confirm any of these records and since many RC parishes do not have records back before 1810, his record may not be one of the five currently on Roots Ireland.
I also did not find a Michael Hannon marriage record to an Elizabeth McTearnan/McTerney.
You may want to add Michael's story to our XO Chronicles site https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…
You may also want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
