Greetings. One set of my 3 x great grandparents emigrated to Australia in the mid 1850s. Can't find any info of their lives before they arrived here in Aust. Names are: William Harrington and his wife Elizabeth Harrington, (maiden name Gorman.) I have some info on their lives whilst they lived here, but nothing prior to that. The info on the passenger list from the boat they sailed out on said they came from Tipperary.

Hi,
Please see attached record in relation to the marriage of William Harrington and Betty Gorman in Borris in Ossory on August 17th 1855.
Parish record in on the bottom of the left hand page.
Borris in Ossory is in the County of Laois and close to the boundary with North County Tipperary. - Roscrea Town. There are a number of townlands named Garryduff in County Tipperary and County Laois which was known then as "Queens County".
