My Great Grandparents Michael McGarrell( 1812+/- to 1886) and Ann Ward (1814-1892) were married April 25, 1836 in Carrickedmond Parish and emigrated not ong afterward. Micheal's Father Daniel appears to have dies in Knockavegan townland Kilcommon parish in 1813. Looking for headstones or records for Daniel or his wife who was probably Ann maiden name unknown. Anns Father from Abbyderg died in 1870 at about 100 her mother was probably named Mary. Ann had a Brother Thomas who emigrated to the US later. Both were Roman Catholic but it's possible that Daniel converted to Church of Ireland.Any nformation would be appreciated.
