Hi Denise,
Attached is a record of the baptism of a John Daly in 1826. His father is recorded as "Denis".
The name "John Daly" appears in records in that area - 1820's.
You can search free site - www.nationalarchives.ie for Tithe Applotment Records - 1823 - 1837.

Hello Denise,
You hadn’t mentioned that John Daly and Catherine Curtin had a daughter named Honora who was baptized in the Hospital Catholic Parish on 15 November 1820.
At the time of the baptism, the father John, mother Catherine, and Honora were living in the townland of Ballycahill.
The baptism transcription for Honora comes from the Find My Past (FMP) website and can be viewed by going to the following link: https://is.gd/N685hb
Linked to the FMP baptism transcription is a copy of Homora Daly’s original Hospital, Limerick baptism record. This comes from the National Library of Ireland.
The original baptism record for Honora is attached to this reply and shows the sponsors, or godparents were Patk (Patrick) Curtin and Ellen Daly.
HOSPITAL MARRIAGE OF JOHN DALY AND CATHERINE CURTIN
The FMP transcription for John Daly and Catherine Curtin shows they had married a little over 9 months before their daughter Honora was born. The marriage took place in the Hospital Catholic Parish on 9 February 1820, according to the transcription at: https://is.gd/tJZ0GN
A copy of the original marriage record for John and Catherine is attached.
Unfortunately there will not be Hospital Catholic Parish baptism records for John Daly and Catherine Curtin, or marriage records for their parents. The National Library of Ireland website shows the Hospital baptisms commence on 11 January 1810, and are available until 18 March 1881.
Hospital marriages begin on 10 February 1812, and are available until 6 July 1883.
To see the availability of the Hospital Catholic Parish registers, and to view a map of the parish, go to the National Library of Ireland link at: https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0268
I didn’t find the Hospital Catholic Parish baptisms for any more children of John Daly and Catherine Curtin, which means they may have left Ireland for England not long after Honora was born in 1820.
But, I wanted to see if there were any people named Daly or Curtain recorded in either Ballycahill or Knocklong in an Irish agricultural record known as the Tithe Applotment Books. The tithe applotments were recorded in the 32 counties of Ireland between 1823 and 1837.
You can read a comprehensive explanation about the Tithe Applotment Books at the National Archives of Ireland website links at:
http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp
http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/about.jsp
http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/aboutmore.jsp
____I couldn’t identify anyone with the surname Daly in the TitheApplotment Books leasing property in either Ballycahill or Knocklong., but I did find that a Patk “Curtain” leased land in Ballycahill. Patrick may have been related to Catherine Curtin Daly.
The tithe record for Patrick and the other leaseholders in Ballycahill took place in 1834. See the index for Patrick at: https://is.gd/agjX22
Clicking on Patrick’s first or last name brings you to a copy of the original tithe page where you can find him and others recorded in Ballycahill. Or just click here for a copy of the original page: https://is.gd/N9WxCw
Patrick is recorded several entries down the page, and shows he leased over 20 acres of land which was of 2nd quality for raising crops.
Panning to the far right of the page on the line for Patrick, you’ll see that his tithe contribution amounted to 1 Pound, 13 Shillings, and 9 1/2 Pence. He and the other farmers would not have been happy to pay these tithes, as the money went for the upkeep of the Church of England. At this time all over Ireland, most of the farmers were Roman Catholic.
Concerning other records I found the civil registration marriage index for Owen Daly and “Sisanna” Parker at the FreeBMD website. The spelling of Susanna’s first name, “Sisanna” may be a transcription error.
The index shows the marriage was recorded in the Liverpool, England Registration District for the September quarter of 1840. I’ve transcribed the marriage index below from FeeBMD:
Marriage September Quarter 1840
Owen Daly
Sisanna Parker
Registration District: Liverpool
Volume: 20

____If you do not have a copy of the original marriage record, you can order it online from the HM Passport Office/General Register Office (GRO) in Southport, England. For more information about ordering civil registration birth, marriage, and death records for England and Wales, go to: https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/login.asp
The marriage for Owen and Susanna will be found in Volume 20, Page 342 of the GRO marriage registers.
Kind Regards,
