I am searching for further information and verification of the HORAN family from Castletown, Tipperary, possibly Corbally.
The generation born 1826 - 1840 all emigrated to Australia from 1853 - 1856.
Their names were: Martin, Ellen, Thomas, James, Catherine and Bridget.
Their parents were PATRICK HORAN (b. abt 1796) and MARY MARGARET HICKEY (b. abt 1806).Their youngest child was our ancestor, Bridget who was 14 when she accompanied her sister Catherine aged 18 and brother James aged 20 to Australia in 1854.
Patrick Horan's parents may have been Michael Horan and Ellen Mortar.
