Hi!

I have been researching my family tree for a long time, and I've hit a bump in the road. My great great grandfather seems to either have not existed or we have his name completely wrong! If I provide some information, if anything seems familiar or you have any suggestions on where to look next, I'd appreciate it!

I am looking for any information on Michael Hurley. He married Elizabeth M Bradfield (possibly missnamed Bradford). Elizabeth's parents were Richard Bradfield and Ellen Deasy. She was born in 1906 and died in 2005. From my understanding they were both from County Cork, Ireland. Elizabeth immigrated to the USA at the age of 19 to attend her sister's wedding and never left. She and Michael owned Mike's Variety Store in Charlestown, Boston, Massachusettes. She had 9 siblings. She and Michael had 6 or 7 children (depending on the record).

    Hello,

On Elizabeth Bradfield Hurley's US Naturalization record, it shows that Michael Hurley was born 31 Apr 1904 in Bandon, Cork. There is a civil birth record for Michael Hurley born 30 Apr 1904 in Baurleigh, Bandon, Cork with parents Timothy Hurley and Honoria McCarthy. There are also 1901 and 1911 census records for this family in Baurleigh. Michael was the youngest of nine children...his siblings are James, Julia, Denis, Charles, Mary, Nano, Timothy, and Daniel. The 1911 census states that Honoria gave birth to 11 children, and 10 are still alive; so there is one missing.
