His name was Bernard Barney Clark. Born appx. 1854. I was told he came from Cavan County, but I am unsure if this is correct. Could have been baptized in Louth on 1/28/1854. No parental information. Married 1873 to Matilda or Malinda Magnus in Stark, Ohio. Fathered one child James B. Clark in 1873. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The subscription site Roots Ireland has a October 8 1854 baptism for a Bernard Clarke with father James and mother Pebby Clarke. The Drung parish register is not online at the NLI site so we can't check the name Pebby. Since his son was named James, it is possible he named the child after his father.
In any event, this is a lead for your research. DNA testing may be helpful also.
