Born about 1775 in Connemara.
Married William CLARKE (born about 1770 in Edinburgh, Scotland) in Connemara about 1799.
In about 1795 CLARKE was supposedly Chief Constable at Edinburgh Castle.
They were resident in Edinburgh in 1800.
One daughter Cecilia (Celia, Cecila or Sally) CLARKE was born in Connemara about 1800.
Cecilia CLARKE married John QUIN in Connemara or Castlebar, Mayo in about 1825.
They went to Rainow, Chesire about 1832.
Following the death of John Quin in a coal mining accident Cecilia, now known as Sarah, married Peter VARE (VERE, VEIR etc.) in Prestbury on 22nd June, 1834. The 1841 census states that she was born in Ireland. She died in Bollington on 16th Dec 1855.

Celia PLUNKETT had a sister Katherine, born about 1774, who married a Mr. O'FLAHERTY about 1795 in Connemara.

John QUIN was born in Castlebar, Mayo in about 1800. At the time of his marriage to CecIlia CLARKE, John was supposedly a Revenue Officer in Castlebar.
