John was living in Bovain parish of Killyman, son of Alexander Irwin and Ann Jane was from Turleenan, daughter of John Hughes. 1901 census shows John age 68, widower, living in Bovean, Drumaspil, Tyrone. three daughters immigrated to US, one married a McFarland and raised her family in Copney.
