Isaac Walker (1817-1873) and Elizabeth Ewing (1822-?) were my great, great grandparents. Their daughter, Angelina (1847-1910) was my great grandmother. I have not been able to locate a record of Isaac Walker and Elizabeth Ewing's marriage (?1842) or any definitive information about Elizabeth Ewing's parents and siblings. Any suggestions, advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Isaac Walker (farmer) married Elizabeth nee Ewing of Edenderry. Isaac and Elizabeth were the parents of Angelina baptised 29 Aug 1847, Seagoe Parish CI. Angelina is listed as a Cook aged 29 yrs when she emigrated to NZ on the "Opawa" in 1880, with her sister Frances Louisa (baptised 1 Nov 1863 Seagoe CI), listed as a Gen Serv aged 17 yrs. Angelina married Walter Thompson in NZ 1882 and died in Christchurch, New Zealand 1910. Her brother, Robert Henry Walker baptised 16 May 1850, Seagoe CI Parish, Co Armagh is listed as a farm labourer when he emigrated on the "Merope" to NZ in 1871, aged 21 years. The journey began in London 9 June 1871 arriving in Lyttleton, NZ, 76 days later on 25 August 1871. In 1875, Robert Henry Walker married (1) Mary Catheren Warren, a 28yr old widow. This marriage ended in divorce. He then married (2) Annie Russell (age 34yrs, dau of Sarah (nee Waite) and James Russell). Annie was also born nr Portadown, Co Armagh and was of British Nationality. Robert H died aged 74 yrs and was buried in the Anglican Cemetery, Rangiora, NZ, on 30 April 1924. At the time of his death he had two living children aged 33 and 35. One of these was his daughter "Annie Elizabeth Ewing" to whom he bequeathed a legacy of One Hundred Pounds. Robert sponsored his sisters Angelina and Frances to join him in NZ.

Statutory registration of marriages began in Ireland in April 1845. I do not see a marriage between Isaac Walker and Elizabeth Ewin(g) between 1845 and 1850. So it looks as though the couple married before that. In which the case the records may not be on-line. (And you won’t get a marriage certificate as such because they hadn’t been introduced).
Births were only registered from 1.1.1864. I did search for any Walker/Ewing births from 1864 onwards but did not find any in the Portadown area. (Walker & Ewing are common surnames and I did see at least 2 other Walker=Ewing couples but they were in Banbridge and Londonderry and were not your family).
If Robert was buried in an Anglican cemetery then that suggests he may have been Church of Ireland in Ireland. There are several Church of Ireland churches in the Portadown area. Drumcree has baptisms from 1788 onwards, marriages from 1802. Portadown has baptisms from 1826 and marriages from 1827. So you could get someone to search them. Tradition was to marry in the bride’s church and thereafter she’d attend her husband’s, so if Isaac & Elizabeth attended different churches you may find the marriage in one but the children’s baptisms in another. Might be worth checking adjacent parishes too eg Seagoe. Copies of the above records, including those for Seagoe, are held in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast. If you can’t get there yourself, you may need to get a researcher to look them up for you.
Griffiths Valuation for 1864 does list an Isaac Walker who was farming in Seagoe Upper townland. (Parish of Seagoe). He’s about the only one of that name in the Portadown area in 1864. I don’t know if you have researched that family or not.
I looked at the tithe applotment records for Drumcree (1828) and Seagoe (1834). No Isaac Walker farming in either parish at that time.
