I have reached a roadblock with Jacob James Nugent Sr. (b. abt. 1815 Leitrim, Ireland; died 1891 USA) m. Rose Reynolds (b. 1815 Co. Cork, Ireland; d.abt. 1860 Ireland). They married about 1835 in Leitrim. The only children I can find are: John (b. 1833 Ireland; d. 1916 USA); Paul (b. abt. 1840 Ireland; d. ?); James (b. 1836; d. ?); Mary (b. 1843; d. ?). What was the religious denomination for Jacob James Nugent and Rose Reynolds? I've searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and so far have found no records for the family. Have you located baptismal records for the children?
