In 2017, I received a pdf. file that contained a letter written by James Brennan with information given to him by Peter O'Sullivan. There are no dates given but Peter was supposedly 74 yrs old and was born and raised in Fermoyle, near Sneem. I would like to find out if Peter O'Sullivan and James Brennan are still alive and whether they may be related to me. Bernie O'Sullivan is a cousin of mine and I believe she is still living in Ireland. Her parents were Murphy/O'Sullivan and her grandparents were O'Sullivan/Sullivan and great grandparents were Sullivan/Brennan. I could use some help locating these people and their history. Thank you.

Thank you! I will, indeed, get ahold of them and see if they can shed any light. Hoping maybe there might be some relatives still alive so I can confirm if he is related to me.

Hi Terry,
I have just seen your post. The James Brennan you refer to was my Dad. We first saw the Fermoyle Letter in 2011.
I would be very happy for you to make contact if you still wish to follow up
Regards
Patrick

I am trying to discover my ancestors in Ireland. My 2g grandfather was Cornelius Brennan and by his obituary, it stated he was from County Kerry. l made a trip to Ireland and what little I could find is that the Brennan family settled around the area of Kenmare to Sneem. I have found likely relatives in and around Killarney also. I recently found out that Bernie O'Sullivan is related to me. In trying to see how we were related, I was able to find her family line back three generations. The Sullivans, O'Sullivans and Brennans are predominant in her family. I know that Fermoyle area in around Sneem and since your dad wrote about Peter O'Sullivan, I am hoping there is a connection. I would appreciate any information you can give me. Thanks for responding.
