James Gallagher’s wife Bridget was born in 1822 and hailed from Drumane on the western side of County Cavan, in the boggy foothills of Cuilcagh Mountain. Her father Hugh Masterson was still alive when she sailed for Sydney but her mother Ellen had passed away.
The Gallaghers sailed upon the Agnes Ewing, a 641-ton three-masted barque chartered by the government of New South Wales to bring skilled workers out to the British colony. Officially called ‘assisted’ or ‘bounty’ migrants, their passage was paid on condition that, upon arrival, they would go to work for a specific person
According to the emigration papers that James Gallagher submitted to the Superintendent of Emigrants in Sydney in 1842, he was born in Rathkenny (or Rakenny), near Cootehill, County Cavan, in 1818. His parents Philip and Mary Gallagher (Callachor) were still resident of Rathkenny when he sailed for Australia.
James's younger brother Philip Callachor had also arrived in Australia and was working as a hawker in Queensland. He later settled at Yetman, north of Sydney, a land famed for the quality of its woolly sheep. His wife Mary, née Fitzgerald, was from Ballylongford, County Kerry
My question is there was another brother Terence I cannot find any information of him and he came to Australia as well. Does anyone know anything would be helpful...

Yes I have his Marriage and Death certificate.
Parents Philip/Phillip and Mary Donohoe
Phillip was a miller from County Cavan.
I have read some death notices in the newspapers and they mention Cootehill, Co Cavan
Terence born around 1827/ 1833

Terence married on the 26 April 1858 at Saint Marys Cathedral Sydney NSW
Roman Catholic says he was 25 years old from Co Cavan. Parents Philip Callachor/ Gallagher and Mary Donohoe could be something else as he couldn't write.
He married Catherine Cooney from Co. Cavan Parents Charles Cooney and Rose Dillon.

I have drawn a blank on your family. I have searched the National Archives for transportation records, but they do not appear to cover the period you require. I also looked at Griffiths Valuations & Tithe Applotments in the hope of finding their parents, if Philip was a mill owner as he would most likely have rented land. I searched Will Calenders, newspaper archives, church & civil records, all without success. The issue is that records before 1864 for catholics are scarce. Likewise I could not find Catherine Cooney's family, yes there were a few Charles Cooney's but I had no way of proving that he was part of your connection. But do not give up, new records do come online and there may be others looking for your family. Do keep an ear out for new records coming online in Australia. I am a Great Great Great Granddaughter of James and Bridget Callachor. Terence, his brother came to Australia I believe around 1856 (after James). I cannot find any immigration record. He married Catherine Cooney in 1857. They had 8 children. Terence died in 1884. The younger two children went into care and Catherine went to work. She died in 1916 in Callan Park Mental Asylum. I have attached their death certificates. I don't think they reunited with their mother. Margaret settled in South Australia with her elder sister Rose and Mary remained in Sydney, unmarried.
James and Terence had an another brother Phillip who also came to Australia.
I can give you more information if you are interested or if you have any more I would be very interested in finding out more on their background.
