Hi

I would like to get information on my GG grandfather James who was born circa 1834. he moved from Tipperary to Belfast and was married in 1857.He died in 1901 in Belfast

 

I would be grateful for any background information

    The subscription site Roots Ireland has a August 1 1831 baptismal record in Nenagh RC parish for a James Moylan with father James Moylan and mother Kitty Tierney. The next record was in 1838.

    There are other James Moylan records in that time period in other Tipperary parishes.

  • Thanks for this Roger. Ive seen this on Roots but on the 1901 Census he is listed as being 67 -on his death cert he is listed as being 57 but I think this is an error. On his wedding cert he was 23 in 1857 so Im thnking 1834 is his correct DOB. I have no information re his siblings or his Parents marriage.
