James Ryan, born about 1831 and Mary Delaney (his wife) born about 1833 (March ?) were both born in Ireland and emigrated to Canada (Quebec) prior to 1852. Their son, James, was born in Quebec in 1852. Some relatives speculate that they came from Tipperary but that is not at all definitive.

You could go to www.rootsireland.ie and search the church records for James. this is a pay site but you can perform many searches and only pay to view the actual records.
