James WHITE and Anna WHITE - Godparents to Simon NASH - St. Patrick's Church 1752

I am seeking further information on the James WHITE and Anna WHITE (nee ?????) who were godparents to (and likely witnessed the baptism of) Simon NASH at St. Patrick's Church, Co. Waterford on October 17 1752.
Simon's parents are Samuel NASH and Susanna ROBERTS of Newfoundland. Most likely Samuel was a migratory fisherman working in the Newfoundland cod fishery. It is of course possible that Simon was born in Newfoundland but risks associated with North Atlantic sea travel were certainly known; so, I am guessing that Susanna gave birth to Simon while in Ireland and, yes, Samuel was likely also there. Further information on Samuel NASH, Susanna ROBERTS, and Simon NASH would also be most welcome!

What relationship did Samuel NASH and/or Susanna ROBERTS (of Waterford and Newfoundland) have with James WHITE and Anna WHITE [of Waterford (... and Newfoundland?)]?
