I am currently looking for any information on our GG Grandmother -
Johanna (Hannah) Daly - 1854–1937
BIRTH 1854 • Caher Co Kerry Ireland
DEATH APRIL 3, 1937 • Chapel Street, Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand
I understand that she came to New Zealand on ship called Famith to New Zealand in the year of 1881 - but not sure if this is right - the dates dont correalate
I think this was her year of birth 1854 - which would make her 83 when she passed - but in her death notices they say that she was I think 75
She married on 14/12/1880 • St Patricks Cathedral, Auckland to Michael was a labourer aged 26 & Hannah Daly was a spinister aged 19
They went on to have nine children

I looked at the church records for the RC parish of Caherciveen which are free to review at www.irishgenealogy.ie and located this 1854 baptismal record. There was also an 1857 record for another Joanna Daly. Let me know if you think this record is for your great-great grandmother. I did not see any sibling records in this parish.
