I'm looking for any information anyone may have regarding John Croswell or anyone in the Croswell family. I believe they may have lived in the Manorhamilton area or possibly Drumahaire area. Anything would be appreciated!

You did not say what year you were looking at or if you knew anything else about John's family--parents, wife, children. But I looked at the marriage records and found a John Crosswell living in Killargue, Co. Leitrim. He married in the parish of Cloonclare Church of Ireland on 16 Feb. 1837 to Catherine Irwin of Killasnet. I hope this is helpful.

Hi, I didn't mean to imply that John was your direct ancestor. I provided the record for John as it points to Crosswells living in a certain area of Leitrim--and perhaps related to James.

Hello! John Croswell was my great grandfather. He married a May Zeck but I'm not sure if they married in Ireland. He was related to Margaret Flynn, Martin Flynn. I know for sure Martin lived in Manorhamilton by letters he wrote to family in America. I believe John came to America late 1800's to very early 1900's. Thanks for all your help so far and I hope I continue to hear from all of you.
