My ancestor John Cullinan b abt 1815 in Clare, joined the RIC in 1838 and served in Mayo. Using the Co Clare libarary indexes, I searched for the names of Cullinan and John O'Brien Esq (who recommended his for the RIC) occuring in the same place and I land on Killen townland in Ruan parish near Corofin. There is an Andrew Cullinan as a tenant farmer to Landlord John O'Brien Esq
In 1847 he married a Mary Tigue (McTighe) b abt 1830 who was also from Clare.
I am searching for any possible clues as to which Cullianan parents he may belong to, or any clues about Mary Tigue
