I am looking for parents of John Egan 1811-1885. He was born in Ballyhowly Knock Mayo. He was married to Margaret Cunniffe 1811-1892. They were married in 1838. The y had a daughter Margaret Egan (Waldron).

The baptismal records for Knock RC parish start in 1868. I also checked the Tithe listings from 1834 and there were no Egan records for Ballyhowly townland. I don't think we can come up with the names of John Egan's parents.
