Hello
My great-great Grandfather was The Very Rev. John Fiennes Twisleton Crampton (b. 26 Apr 1817, Dublin and d. 14 Oct 1888, Aughrim). He was rector of Aughrim for 43 years and had 16 children by two wives. He lies buried in the churchyard of Holy Trinity Church together with his two wives and three of his children.
I am interested in making contact with any other descendants of his. I know that some of his children emigrated to England, South Africa, America, Australia and possibly Siam (Thailand). There must be a lot of us spread around the world.
Regards
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone who is connected to the family contacts you.
In the meantime, have you checked the 1911 census records to see if there is any Fienne?s still in the area at the time? You can search the records here:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
Also, you could try contacting the local parish priest to see if he can offer any assistance as to whether or not there are any Cramptons or relatives in the area today. Here is a link to their contact details:

Hello Ryan,
If this chat is still open I would love to chat a bit about your great-great grandfather. He happened to be my great-great-great grandmother's godfather. I am also in search of more information about her and maybe our research can support each other. Thank you!

Hi Stacia
I would also love to chat about our mutual research. I know a lot about my great-great grandfather and his children, but I would love to know about his god children. That would give me more insight into his private life.
I've always wanted to make a Wikipedia page for him, to complement his cousins one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sir_John_Crampton,_2nd_Baronet), but I've never got round to it.
Let me know what you would like to know about him.
Ryan
