Hi, I'm looking for more information on Joseph Kiernan born 8 August 1878 in Konckbrack, Old Castle to parents Michael Kiernan and Rose Anne Kiernan (Callary) they are my children's great great grandparents. I have a copy of Joseph's birth certificate. Would appreciate any information.

Not sure what information you are looking for. I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and there was an 1869 marriage record for Michael Kiernan and Rose Anne Kellery in Oldcastle. Civil records of marriages are available on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie Currently, they have marriages from 1870-1941 but very shortly, we expect that the 1864-1869 marriages will be added. You will then be able to see the record which will show where Michael and Rose Anne lived but more importantly the names of their fathers. I also located baptismal records for eight children: Michael 1873 Mary E. 1874 Joseph 1878 Philip 1880 Michael C. 1882 Anne 1884 Elizabeth M.1885 Patrick J. 1887. I found the family in the 1901 census (see link below) in Knockbrack townland in Loughcrew civil parish. I did not see them in the 1911 census. I did find a Michael Kiernan who died in 1902 (see link below) It shows her lived in Loughcrew which was his parish. I did not find a death record for Rose.
