I am looking for information about my maternal 4th great grandmother. Her name was Julia Sullivan. She was born around 1778 in Brohill and died in 1864 in Garranes. I know the name of her spouse and children but am looking for information about her parents and/or siblings.

Sorry about the spam comments added to your message. The only Co. Cork parishes with baptismal records back to 1778 are parishes in Cork city but it appears that Julia was from a rural area. There are seven townlands called Garranes in Co. Cork in various parishes. Do you know which parish she came from? I can't find Brohill. Might it be Broghill North or South in Ballyhay parish?

Hi Tracy - I am also looking for information on Julia Sullivan, I would say date of birth about same time as yours. My Julia, married John Regan (unsure year) and their daughter Mary was born 1818 and emigrated to Australia 1842.
If you think there is a possible connection, would love to hear from you ...
