Good evening all,
I've hit a bit of a wall with my family history research. I would be grateful if anyone has even a nugget of information relating to either of the below. I'm looking for what happened to Edward (as wife Mary went to Leith, Scotland where she eventually passed away at the age of 79 and there is no evidence via any census returns that Edward went with her) along with their marriage record and baptism records for either of their children. The information below (including year of birth) is approximate based on census returns and death certificates in Scotland.
Edward Kane and Mary McCran (died in 1893 aged 79, daughter of John McCran and Cecilia Padon).
Children are Patrick Kane (died in 1902 aged 57 and listed Drumshanbo as place of birth on one of the censuses), Edward Kane (died in 1911 aged 70), Owen Kane (died 1891 aged 35 and listed Carrick on Shannon as place of birth on one of the censuses) and James Kane (died 1909 aged 56). The occupation of both Patrick and Owen was Cooper.
Thanks everyone.

Drumshanbo (also known as Murhan) RC parish has late starting RC records https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0163?locale=en Baptismal records start in May 1861 and marriages in 1868. Therefore, if that was the parish for the Kane family then baptismal records are not available.
I did check the subscription site Roots Ireland just to make sure some of the events did not occur in another parish but I did not find the marriage record or any baptismal records for the sons.
