Is anyone researching these names? Married in Ballymote moved to Sheffield UK 1840s. I haven't found any ancestors with the surnames in Ballymote so any further help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

  • Clair: The RC baptismal records for Emlaghfad parish start in 1856 but the marriage records start in 1824. I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and located a January 17 1848 marriage at Emlaghfad for a Martin Kearins and a Bridget Denison. Possible connection? I also checked the 1858 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Enlaghfad civil parish and found a Catherine Kearns in Camross townland. https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/sligo/emlaghfad.php Roger McDonnell
