I found richard keddy 1827 on the rootsireland website.  Have you viewed this record?  What were his parent's names?

Someone had given me the info but I have not seen it myself.

I do not know who his parents were, but would love to find out as much as possible.

His daughter  "Margaret Ann Keddy" was my grandmother Margaret Slater.

Need to find more info on the whole family in Ireland.

My Grandmother was Catherine Cady (Keady, Keddy), she was born in Amsterdam NY in 1888, Her father was Thomas Cady born in Amsterdam, NY in 1858. Her grandfather was William Keddy born in County Wicklow in 1827.  In Griffith's Valuation there was a Michael Keddy in Delgany (small village in the RC parish of Kilquade), County Wicklow. Record show he died in 1877. I think we might be cousins.
