I have looking for information on my 2nd great grandfather, Lawrence McNamara, born 1805, in Limerick. At some point he emigrated to Ontario, Canada, married Catherine Shanahan who died in childbirth (1837) and married my 2nd great grandmother, Mary Keleher in 1843. I have no other family information on Lawrence or Mary Keleher.

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and their data base did not have any Lawrence McNamara records in Co. Limerick. it is very possible that your Lawrence was baptized in a parish that no longer has records back to 1805.
