Hi,
I am helping friends of mine in the US trace their relative's roots. Andrew Joseph Logan was born about 1820 in Galway and emmigrated along with his brother Patrick and sister Ann to the US in 1848. There is a possibility that their mother was Margaret.
Andrew Logan married Julia Joy of Tralee in the US in the 1850's. He is listed as a cabinet maker on the US census. According to Griffiths Valuation, there was a Thomas Logan living in Aughrim in 1855. Is this story familiar to anyone or are there any Lognas still living in the Aughrim area?
Many thanks,
Ann Marie Fair
