Looking for my ancestors from/in Ireland. Grandfathers name was Alfread Peak Ranagan. Not sure of my great or great great grandfathers name but was told one of them owned a glass factory in Ireland somewhere. Any information would be great. I'm Shawn Patrick Ranagan btw. Thanks-

I searched rootsireland.ie for Alfred Ranagan in all counties with no year specified and got no matches. I then tried with the name Frederick and got 4 matches but the surnames are all Rankin. I assume Ranagan may be an early form of Rankin.
The years of the births are 1872 Donegal 1883 Antrim 1904 Antrim and 1905 Derry.
Do you happen to know the year of your grandfather's birth?
