I am looking for my husband's ancestors from Ireland.
Daniel Flanagan was born approx 1864, Maggie/Jane Collins I have no idea of a birthdate.
I do not know if they came to the US together or married after they arrived.
They settled in Manchester, NH.

most of the church records (with the exception of co. clare) are between two sites www.irishgenealogy.ie and www.rootsireland.ie.
Just start with a name and gradually introduce dates and other names etc,.
The state records started in 1864 but he might or might not be in the register. These can be ordered at www.groireland.ie but you will need a certain amount of information to get a birth cert.
I think your best bet is church records and ships registers.
