Looking for any info on James Lee (1868-?) who married Bridget Mongan (1865-?). They had at least 10 children that I can find. Mary Alice Lee (1890-?), John Lee (1892-?), Delia Lee (1893-1934), Patrick Lee (1897-?), Ellen Lee (1899-?), Michael Lee (1900-?), Anna Lee (1908-?), James Lee (1904-?), Thomas Lee (1905-?) and Julia Lee (1902-?). They married around Jul 20, 1889 in Clifden, Galway, Ireland.
I think James Lee's parents are John Lee and Ellen Meally. I think Bridget Mongan's parents are Simon Mongan and Bridget Conneely.
Any help would be appreciated.
I found this posted on Gen Circles.
My grandmother, Delia Lee, was born in Clifden, Galway. Her father was James Lee and her mother was either Betrice/Bridget Mongon or Mangan. Delia was born in 1893 and came to America in 1912. The James Lee family in Clifden were landowners and Marconi stayed at their home when he came to Ireland for the radio. Also the bishop used to stay at their home. My great Uncle, Thomas Lee, stayed at the home and either he or his son, Bernard Lee, turned the home into a resort. Delia Lee's brother, John Lee, went to Chicago eventually and died there later on. Michael Lee, another brother married a Scottish lady named Sara Lyons and after she died he moved to Cleveland. Other sisters were Ella (Nellie), Mary Alice (a Mercy nun Sister Mary Alfred, Julia and Anna.
Delia Lee was the name of my wife's G Grandmother.
